Am I eligible for Motability?

The Motability Scheme is open to anyone receiving the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement. In addition, parents can apply on behalf of a child who is in receipt of the benefit, while those unable to drive can nominate up to two drivers.

Contract Hire – an agreement of three years – features a 60,000 mileage allowance, but is the most popular option among Motability motorists. Additional benefits of the Contract Hire scheme include road tax, insurance, aftersales services and breakdown cover. The alternative option of Hire Purchase enables you to purchase the vehicle outright and modify it according to your needs. It does not, however, include those additional extras covered by Contract Hire.
