Who is eligible?

To use any of the Motability schemes you must be receiving one of the following benefits:  Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement. You should expect to receive the allowance for the full length of the agreement you choose. But don't worry, we welcome applications as long as they have at least 12 months Award remaining when you apply. An application for a car can also be made on behalf of a child aged three or older who is entitled to the mobility allowance and even if you don't drive but receive the allowance, you can apply for a car as a passenger and propose two other people as your drivers.

This low-cost package is easily the most popular in the Motability Scheme. All you have to do is pay an Advanced Payment (if applicable) and then in exchange for your Allowance you can get a brand new Saab for three years.Your car will be fully maintained, serviced and insured for the three year period.You can travel up to 20,000 miles a year, without any excess mileage charge and all you have to pay is your fuel and oil. When the three year period is over you simply return your Saab and choose a NEW one.
