Safety

As is well known, Renault is BIG on safety and the new Renault Twingo is no exception. With a FOUR Star EURO NCAP safety rating, the Twingo is one of the safest supermini's on the market today.

The structure of the car features energy-absorbing crumple zones to safeguard the cabin and protect all the occupants. In the event of frontal impact, the sill and door beam of the Twingo spread the force over the entire length of the car to absorb and dissipate the kinetic energy.

The safety system aims foremost to protect it's occupants. It includes up to six air bags: two front, two front lateral air bag's as standard, plus optional curtain air bag's. Air bag's can be deactivated to allow a child seat to be fitted.
