Make it wider, lower and longer to give it a stronger, more muscular stance, along with a totally re-sculpted rear. The result? The breathtakingly stylish, new Peugeot 308 SW.

But adding the extra width and length wasn't just about making the interior more spacious, it also enabled us to make the 308 SW appear even more powerful and dynamic. Beyond that, it gave us the room to add some great design features including a vast panoramic cielo roof (1.13 square metres) and a wrap around rear windscreen (which gives it the largest expanse of window glass in its class), along with a split tailgate for easy access and loading.

More beauty in the details.

The 308 SW is all about powerful details. The grille, bonnet and dynamic lines on the car have been heavily sculpted to enhance its elegant profile, and the attention to detail throughout the inside and outside of the vehicle provides a real premium feel.

The fact that the 308 SW has class-leading aerodynamics and delivers improved fuel economy along with lower CO2 emissions owes nothing to chance.

A specialist aerodynamicist work along side the design team, resulting in a breakthrough, innovative cab forward design and a roofline that slopes down, contributing to a large reduction in drag.

More space, more sense.

Our engineers were tasked with echoing the cab forward design of the exterior by moving the front of the car away from the driver.

Not only does this provide more space, it also made more sense, allowing us to angle the innovative, curbed dashboard at a very ergonomic 30 degrees to keep everything within reach. Soft to the touch, with its four retro-style, chrome ringed dials, this looks as if it has come straight from a very expensive coupe.

More flexibility.

The 308 SW is the only car in its class that features modular, independent seating with the option of carrying seven people. There are three full sized seats in row two of the Cielo roof versions and isofix mountings to accommodate up to four child seats (including one on the front passenger seat).

Got company? The 308 SW can be fitted with two comfortable fold away seats in row three, retaining a generous boot volume even when they are fully occupied. Thanks to its class-leading practicality and flexibility, the 308 SW provides the perfect solution for business and pleasure. And with up to a 3 metre available load length, whether you fancy a trip to the sea with your surfing equipment or a weekend away with the family, the 308 SW has more than enough room for all your dreams to be fulfilled.
