Am I eligible for Motability?

The Motability Scheme is available to anyone in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement. Parents can apply on behalf of a child who is in receipt of the benefit, while those unable to drive can nominate up to two drivers.

Contract Hire is an agreement of three years with a 60,000 mileage allowance. It is the most popular option among Motability motorists, including road tax, insurance, aftersales services and breakdown cover. Hire Purchase, meanwhile, enables you to purchase the vehicle outright and modify it according to your needs. It does not include those additional extras covered by Contract Hire.
